Governor Reynolds announced that she will ease Covid-19 restrictions statewide as of Friday, May 15. Because of this, both of our offices will open on a modified schedule by appointment only beginning Monday, May 18.
Please help us protect our vulnerable population and stay home if you are sick to prevent spreading the virus.
Call the office to ask for an appointment, and we will explain the process to you at that time. We will also need to ask some screening questions:
–Do you have any symptoms of Covid-19?
*cough
*fever (temperature above 99.5 forehead/100.4 oral)
*shortness of breath, or lower respiratory infection symptoms
–Have you had any potential exposure to the virus?
*in the past month, have you been in contact with someone who has confirmed or is suspected to have the Coronavirus?
*have you traveled internationally or in New York, New Jersey, the State of Washington, or California in the past month?
If you answer YES to any of the above questions, we’ll ask you to schedule your appointment for a future date (2 weeks without symptoms or past last exposure).
Des Moines (515-285-5700) will be open for appointments Monday and Tuesday.
Ankeny (515-965-7885) will be open for appointments Monday and Wednesday.
