Resource Program

If you are pregnant or parenting a child under the age of three, our resource program can help with the practical things — diapers, wipes, baby clothes, and other supplies — at no cost, at either our Des Moines or our Ankeny location.

What we can provide

Our resource closet is stocked with diapers, wipes, maternity clothes, hygiene products, baby clothing, and other everyday items families need during pregnancy and the early years.

Once you're enrolled, you'll receive free Grace Points each week to shop for what you need — no strings attached. If you'd like to earn more, you can build up additional Progress Points toward larger items and household needs by taking part in parenting classes or spiritual growth programs, at your own pace.

What is on the shelves changes with what has been donated, so it is worth asking even if you are not sure we carry something. If we do not have it, we can often point you to someone who does.

Who qualifies

The program is open to women who are pregnant and to parents of children under three. You do not need to prove income, and there is no fee. You're welcome to join at any point — from a positive pregnancy test through your child's third birthday.

To get started, complete a new client intake appointment in person at either our Des Moines or Ankeny location — this can happen as part of your first pregnancy test appointment if you're new to our center, or you can schedule it on its own if you're coming to us for the resource program alone.

If you're joining while pregnant, we'll also confirm your pregnancy at that time, either with documentation from your OB or through a free pregnancy confirmation at our Ankeny location. Once you're enrolled, you're welcome at either our Des Moines or Ankeny location anytime until your child turns three.

Come take a look

You are welcome to stop in for a tour of either center and see the resource closet for yourself before signing up. Some people find that easier than committing over the phone.

Our team will show you around, explain how the program works, and answer your questions without any pressure to sign up. If you would rather start with a phone call, that is fine too.
